Here's the Thing . . .

Like Robert Kraus’ Leo, I’m a late bloomer. I mean, it has taken me 40 years to see that my default MO doesn’t have to be procrastination. It’s taken me over 10 years of writing to be willing to admit that I am, in fact, a writer. And it took me five years to admit that I needed to start a website to share my writing journey.

But I’m here, confronting the only part of the writing process that I have dreaded...setting up the *website*. I assumed it would be overwhelming and difficult. And the truth is . . .

IT WAS.

Ha!

But I did it, and it will be a metaphor for my entire road to publication, a reminder that I can do it. A reminder that determination pays off.

And it really should be an inspiration to others. Not because the website is glorious. (It needs much improvement, but, baby steps...) but simply because if I can do it. . . anyone can. For real. (Plus, for many, creating a blog isn’t difficult, so it won’t be hard for you either.)
